The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. 

Why do they consider it the most famous tourist attraction? You can easily find the answer by watching the amazing pictures below. It’s an amazing ride up and down the city of London. During the tour you can enjoy the panoramic view being seated in a passenger capsule. The view is really breathtaking.

The London Eye has 32 passenger capsules in total and its number represents the 32 London boroughs. They are huge weighing 10 tonnes each and can carry up to 25 people.

The London Eye is one of the most spectacular sights in London, especially at Christmas. During Christmas period a variety of festive flights are organized in the wheel. 

Also, a Christmas Market is set at the London Eye where you can buy unique hand-crafted gifts and unusual Christmas presents under the sounds of Christmas music. 

What is more, the impressive firework displays on the night of New Year’s Eve make the London Eye unforgettable to people. Fireworks explode for ten minutes lighting up the sky and being visible from most of central London.

And of course, the London Eye is the best location to celebrate the Valentine’s Day. Couples can choose different flights and enjoy drinking champagne or eating chocolate in the capsules.

An amazing sight resort with a lot of unforgettable moments. As life goes by there are many moments  which are worth to live and that is the ‘’London Eye’’!!!!!

Useful information for tourists:

·        it is open every day until 8:30. Some days are excluded! Visit the official site to check it. http://www.londoneye.com/

·        you can buy a ticket from the ticket office which is outside the wheel or you can book it online, which is preferable, and then take it from  the ticket dispensing machine located in the ticket office

·        you can get there by tube and stop to Waterloo station , which is the closest, or Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster stations.

·        It is accessible to disabled.

·        There is a gift shop opposite the ticket office entrance and two cafes, one opposite the gift shop and one inside the County Hall.
